For Dr. Muelbl, his favorite part of being a dentist in Wauwatosa is building connections with his patients and providing them with high-quality care that is tailored just for them. Making each visit more comfortable and relaxing allows him to focus on the needs of each individual so that beautiful results are achieved. With him, the goal is to make sure you enjoy the journey toward your ideal smile as much as the final result!
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Muelbl worked in biomedical research before making the switch to dentistry. While combatting disease and finding cures is certainly a worthy profession, he felt something was missing. After doing some additional research, he discovered that his passion for interacting and helping others was readily found in dentistry. With friends already working in the field, they encouraged him to pursue it, and he did!
Dentistry has allowed him to use his attention to detail and love for hands-on work to provide meaningful service to the community, and he says he couldn't be happier with his decision.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Muelbl earned his dental degree at the Marquette University School of Dentistry. He then completed a General Practice Residency at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City where he provided dental care for medically complex veterans and learned advanced skills in dental surgeries, dental implants, and sedation dentistry. Always looking to get better and learn, he is currently a member of the American Dental Association and Wisconsin Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he isn’t working, Dr. Muelbl loves to spend his free time outdoors, ideally swimming and hiking with his wife and their golden retriever, Chance. He also enjoys fishing, snowboarding, biking, and playing golf, and to relax, you’ll often find him on the couch cheering on Wisconsin sports teams.
