Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. McGinn got to see the inner workings of a dentist’s office from an early age. His father, Dr. Mike McGinn, worked as a dentist for nearly 40 years in Wauwatosa before eventually retiring. This early exposure and passion influenced Dr. Kevin McGinn to pursue dentistry as he got older. Dr. McGinn learned that dentistry was an immensely rewarding profession that required good listening and communication skills above all else. He wanted to follow in his dad’s footsteps more than anything – and here he is today, doing just that!

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. McGinn completed both his undergraduate degree and dental doctorate at Marquette University. Since then, he has pursued continuing education to further build on his skills, including advanced courses in the Clinical Mastery Series. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, SPEAR Education, Seattle Study Club, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

He recently bought a new house in Elm Grove.
