Your First Visit
You will first be greeted by one of our friendly team members who will inform you of our available refreshments in our beverage center. You’ll then be called and escorted to a treatment room by one of our hygienists who will conduct an oral examination. When finished, one of our esteemed dentists will greet you and discuss with our hygienist before completing their examination of your smile. We’ll then take digital X-rays and intraoral images so that we can better explain our findings as well as go over available treatment options. You are welcome to ask any questions about your oral healthcare as well as those associated with your proposed treatment plan.

We’re here to make receiving dental care a stress-free experience. This means that we care not only about your time in the treatment chair but also about how you view the financial side of dentistry. We know it can be overwhelming paying for preventive or restorative care, which is why we welcome your PPO dental insurance plan. Our team will help to maximize your benefits so that you save each time you come in.

Payment Options
When dental insurance is not something you can afford, you may wonder if receiving regular oral healthcare is possible. The good news is that while we are in-network with multiple PPO plans, we also offer alternative ways for you to pay if you are not enrolled in a private dental insurance plan.
Not only can you pay with cash, check, or a debit card, but we also accept all major credit cards and partner with CareCredit.
One important thing to remember is that you are responsible for paying all fees and insurance co-pays when receiving services unless you have made prior arrangements with our team.

If you incur out-of-pocket expenses as a result of your treatment, you don’t need to worry about having to pay it all upfront. Instead, you can apply for a low- or no-interest payment plan through CareCredit. This budget-friendly solution makes it easy to pay off your treatment over time so that you can focus more on your smile and less on the cost associated with it.
Cancellation Policy
Our dentists and team members at Elmbrook Family Dental of Wauwatosa believe in providing our patients with convenient appointment times throughout the week. Open Monday through Friday, we offer early morning and evening appointments so that busy schedules are accommodated. However, to ensure that we are serving our patients most effectively, we provide email and text confirmations as reminders. As part of our Cancellation and No-Show policy, we also ask that you give us advanced notice should you find that you cannot keep your appointment. If you do not show up or cancel your appointment less than two days before your visit, you will be charged a cancellation fee that can range between $50-$200.
